Peggy Abrams Composer,
is a founding member of the AACM. She studied Music Composition with Muhal
Richard Abrams, and composed for The Experimental Band in the early 1960’s. Her
association with the AACM dates back to 1965 when she assisted in developing the
initial structure of the AACM.
In 1983 Peggy participated in the establishment of the AACM New York City Chapter.
In addition to her work as a composer, Ms. Abrams also serves as the Chief Financial
Officer, Board Member and Secretary of the AACM New York City Chapter.
